The S.G.Group flagship company S.G.Projects Ltd. was established in 1999.

In those early days the company was in business of coal trading and transportation, later on the company diversified into Inland Coal handling and liasoning. Today S. G. group achievements are landmarks in the coal sector and have went on to become one of the leading coal trading company in Eastern India for non-core sector.

Its flagship company S.G. Projects. Ltd for its achievement in coal sector has been awarded with “Coal Indian Domestic Trader of the year 2013” by IHS McCloskey & mjunction.

Witnessing the ever growing demand for housing in India due to increase in urban population and rising income, the S.G. Group established a new company in 2007 named "SHREE GANESHAYA INFRAPROJECTS LTD" (SGIL) to undertake the real estate development in eastern India, with main focus being the city of joy Kolkata.

The S.G. Group grew, expanded and achieved its present position of strength and solid foundations in every field its represent under the vision and guidance of its founder Late Sri Suresh Singh. After his demise in 2011, the group is managed by his sons Sri Ajay Singh (Msc International Banking and Finance U.K) and Sri Sanjay Singh (Business Administration).
